Digging into the catalog of Annette LeCuyer

Professor Annette LeCuyer is the author of books on contemporary architecture and building technology exploring such questions as polymers and plastics in construction and strategies for metal in architectural facades. 

In 2016, she received the UB Meyerson Award for Distinguished Undergraduate Teaching and Mentoring. In 2017, LeCuyer and UB architecture Professor Brian Carter were inducted as Honorary Fellows of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. Her professional experience includes positions with Foster Associates and Allies and Morrison Architects, where she led the design teams for award winning projects in London and at Cambridge University.  

This book by professor Annette LeCuyer provides an introduction to the characteristics of ETFE and its applications in construction. It explores the specific characteristics of ETFE building skins in the areas of structural behavior, light transmission, insulation, acoustics, fire engineering and environmental modification.
