2024 Table Talks

"Building community: Adaptive reuse for the West Side Bazaar"

Join the Senenmut Alumni Association for the 7th annual Table Talks, bringing students, faculty and allied arts and industry leaders together to raise awareness of professional opportunities in Western New York and build up our city and our workforce.

The two-part program kicks off with networking and an opportunity to meet with local employers and learn more about their work and ends with an AIA CEU lecture.

Carolynn Welch, Executive Director of the Westminster Economic Development Initiative, and Courtney Creenan-Chorley, AIA, Project Architect with CJS Architects, will present the redevelopment of a long-vacant former manufacturing facility, with a history tied to Prohibition. Its transformation into the new home of the West Side Bazaar is a demonstration of successful adaptive reuse and community redevelopment.
