A Q&A with Professor Henry Taylor on how planning can help turn around distressed urban neighborhoods and what steps communities can take to extend the rebirth of the city to the benefit of all.


A group of School of Architecture and Planning graduate planning students has just handed off a plan that could make Wyoming County in Western New York a flagship for alternative energy development in New York State, if not the nation. 


In the final stretch of the competition, faculty and students are working hand-in-hand with 12 other UB departments and several local businesses to problem-solve design, engineering and construction while managing a budget and executing marketing plans.


Working hand in hand with community and professional partners, the School of Architecture and Planning has launched a new research endeavor to design and build affordable housing prototypes for Buffalo and cities like it across the U.S.
