Mr. Bruguera joined Pei Cobb Freed & Partners in 1989. In his capacity as both lead designer and project manager, Mr. Bruguera has played a leading role in such projects as the new seat of the Lombardy Regional Government ( Altra Sede Regione Lombardia), Milan, Italy; Torre Espacio, an office tower in Madrid, Spain; a corporate office tower in Istanbul, Turkey; the Social and Mercantile Courts Building, part of a large justice complex in Madrid, Spain; World Trade Center and Grand Marina Hotel , Spain; POS Plaza, an multi-use complex in Shanghai, China; and the San Francisco Main Public Library, California. Prior to joining Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, Mr. Bruguera spent five years in the office of Cossutta & Associates, Architects in New York amd prior to moving to the United States, Mr. Bruguera maintained a private practice in México City.
Topic of Discussion:
Mr. Bruguera will discuss the history and growth of the firm and provide an overview of his work at Pei Cobb Freed, including three of the firm's distinguished projects around the globe. The lecture will be followed by audience discussion.
