The disruption, upheaval and foment across the nation and world is both the challenge and opportunity of our time. This opening for change presents new possibilities for the built environment professions to mobilize action on urgent societal needs. Join us for “PIVOT," a series of information sessions on how the School of Architecture and Planning is responding to the new normal and shaping dialogue and action across academia and practice.
Designed for incoming graduate students, the program features conversation with our faculty thought leaders on the coronavirus pandemic's impact on housing, migration and food access, and its disproportionate effects on minority and low-income communities. We'll also engage focused dialogue on the role of place in structural racism. We’ll also share the latest guidance on UB's fall 2020 return to campus and what to expect as you begin your graduate studies at the School of Architecture and Planning.
