Professor Alfred Price, a beloved teacher and renowned scholar, will retire from the Department of Urban and Regional Planning after 42 years of service to the university. An award-winning professor, Price has touched the lives of thousands of students through his teachings in urban development finance, housing and social policy, and urban design. His research in affordable housing has generated innovations in financing mechanisms, site intensification strategies and housing policy.
