  • Visit top architecture firms and learn about internship and job opportunities
  • Tour some of New York’s most prominent real estate projects
  • See examples of affordable housing success stories
  • Network with leading professionals in architecture, planning and real estate development

Student support available!

Using money donated for this purpose by alumni of the School of Architecture and Planning, we are pleased to let you know that the first 25 students who register for and attend the January 10-11 Road Trip to New York City (including those who have already registered) will receive up to $300 to help defray costs. Registration costs of $50 still apply, so this will provide a net benefit of up to $250 per student.

Reimbursements will be issued from the school following completion of this trip and return to campus. Original receipts for travel-related expenses are required and should be submitted to Jessica Naish in the school. Questions regarding receipts and reimbursement should be directed to jlnaish@buffalo.edu.

The Registration link will open in a new web site called HANDSHAKE which the university uses to manage event registrations, if you have questions or problems logging in, please contact Corinne Cardy at ccardy@buffalo.edu.

Program fee:  $50 - includes lunch on both January 10 and 11

See the diversity of practice - and career options - in New York City

“Visiting architecture, development and planning firms – and going onsite to see major projects first-hand – is an incredibly valuable experience for students, especially in a city like New York, where there's so much diversity in practice. The Road Trip NYC program is a great opportunity for students as they prepare for internship and employment opportunities.”
