Media 2 builds on the techniques of basic architectural representation covered in the previous course.  As a primary learning objective, students will produce detailed 2D representations with vector-based design tools used to construct digital drawings.

In addition, this course introduces various 3D drawings that are used to describe full-scale constructs as part of a set that describes both the design intent and the construction process (as related to the agenda of the concurrent studio, ARC 102).

Christopher Romano, assistant professor of architecture, explores the relationship between design, construction and the contemporary culture of building by leveraging regional manufacturing and material processes.
