Dual-degree programs are available for students entering our graduate degree programs. Students can pursue research and advanced studies by combining degrees like the MS in Architecture with an MUP, MArch or other graduate degree programs across UB.

The MArch + MUP embraces the notion that architecture and urban planning are fundamentally intertwined as evidenced by the impact of architecture on the urban fabric and the influence of urban planning on architecture. 
The MArch + MBA dual degree prepares students for the growing complexity of architectural practice and demand for managerial and administrative skills that often exceed the traditional training of the architect. 
The Media Arts and Architecture Program (MAAP)  offers a dual degree options for emerging practices in media arts and architecture hybrids that require expertise in both architecture and computational media.
The International Media Architecture Master Studies (IMAMS) program offered by the University at Buffalo and the Bauhaus-Universit├Ąt Weimar is a two-year Masters program providing students with an international perspective on the emerging field of Media Architecture.
The MUP + JD dual-degree program, offered jointly with the UB School of Law, explores the facets of local, state, federal and international policy and practice. The program prepares students for a variety of professional roles in public service, private law firms, planning consulting firms and public legal practice.
Through this three-year program, you will earn an Master of Urban Planning (MUP) degree and a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree.
The School of Architecture and Planning and the  School of Management at the University at Buffalo offer a collaborative program leading to both a Master of Science in Real Estate Development  and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
