Services at UB (UBit)

The UBIT website is a key resource for any questions regarding your UBITName and UBmail, free software, anti-virus and firewall protection, and configuring UB Secure Wi-Fi.

Visit:  http://www.buffalo.edu/ubit/service-guides/getting-started-at-ub.html for the following resources

  • Activate your UBITName: Your UBITName is your UB Information Technology username, use it to access various UBIT services like residence hall/wireless Internet, MyUB, UBmail, UBlearns and more.
  • Join UB online:
    • MyUB is your personal portal for UB news, events and announcements, and also serves as a gateway to UBmail, UBlearns and HUB.
    • On UBlearns You’ll find course information, including assignments, notes, important dates and more. To keep track of everything on the go, download the UBlearns Blackboard mobile app.
    • HUB delivers student-related information in a flexible portfolio of applications. Admissions, academics, financial aid information, and more is always at your fingertips. HUB is the place to keep your student information updated and it's reachable through MyUB.
