Express Career Consults

Same day 20 minute appointments offer you a chance to get immediate help with short inquiries such as:

  • Resume and cover letter review
  • Question about upcoming interview
  • Brief job or internship search tips
  • Intro to major and career exploration

Slots open at 9 a.m. each morning and are filled on first-come, first-served basis. We recommend you reserve your Express appointment or stopping by the 121 Diefendorf Hall.  If you would like a longer time frame to meet with a career counselor, please schedule an individual appointment by calling.

Employers regularly visit campus to recruit talented UB students for jobs and internships. Submit your resume in BullsEye to be considered for these opportunities

Mentor Network

Students can establish valuable mentor connections through the more than 550 professionals who have volunteered to help students explore careers, network, job shadow, and much more.

Workshops and Seminars

Gain valuable information by attending a career workshop or seminar. Examples of topics include resume writing, salary negotiation, technical internships, government careers, and more.

Our testing facility offers a variety of computerized tests for continuing education and employment purposes. Tests include the CLEP, GRE, TOEFL, MAT, MCAT, PRAXIS and more.
