Undergraduate Resources

School of Architecture and Planning Undergraduate Academic Services provides a valuable resource to assist students in the attainment of their educational goals and adjustment to the academic rigors of university life. Advisement provided by School of Architecture and Planning Undergraduate Academic Services offers a broad spectrum of information to all undergraduate students in the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning.

All students in the School of Architecture and Planning have direct access to advisors and faculty mentors upon admission to the School. Students are encouraged to consult regularly with their advisors and faculty mentors in matters pertaining to academic options, course selection, post baccalaureate studies, and career advisement.

Students meet with advisors and faculty mentors as often as they choose to explore educational opportunities available within the School of Architecture and Planning and the University at Buffalo, and to plan a course of study that is consistent with their abilities, achievements, interests, and expectations.

The ultimate goal of advisement is to empower School of Architecture and Planning students to use the tools and resources available to become active and responsible learners. (Adapted from the University at Buffalo's Statement on Academic Advising.)
