Over 90 computers, organized in 4 computing labs gives students access to the hardware and software they need for academic excellence

Computing Sites

All of the high performance desktops in our computing sites come with a wide range of specialty packages, including spatial analysis tools, scenario modeling, rendering, statistical analysis packages and graphic design applications:  

Our software list includes:  MS Office 2010, Adobe Creative Suite CS6, Autodesk Suite 2013, Rhinocerous 5 (with V-Ray 1.5 and Flamingo nXt) and the latest ArcGIS suite.  

Our computing sites are open 24 hours a day and available to all School of Architecture and Planning students, faculty and staff.

Instructional Labs

Our instructional labs are equipped with the next generation educational technology which allows multimodal presentation and display which facilitates instruction and presentation. New technologies are redefining the way faculty, staff and students collaborate in the classroom as well as studios.

Located in the basement of Crosby Hall, this instructional lab is equipped with 35 Dell workstations.
