In this class we will develop an appreciation for the interdependence of planning, architecture, landscape and design and the roles they play in successful site analysis and subsequent construction.

Ultimately, our goal will be to further understand what it takes to turn “space” into a sustainable and engaging “place.” No site exists in a vacuum unto itself and all sites are constrained, whether by scale or finances. The course will involve both lecture, project based analysis, presentation, and guest lecturers from the local development community. Both individual and team projects will be required.
