This course will explore and support and development and use of student’s skills in Rhino 3d. Students will explore new modeling techniques in digital interface and methods of physical output. There will be an emphasis on design for digitally fabricated models based on the techniques in the digital models.
Students will use tools such as laser cutting, CNCing, and 3dprinting to produce models of their designs from Rhino 3d. The course will also address 2d outputs in the forms of drawings and images. Students will look at how to convert their Rhino 3d models into a series of 2 dimensional drawings. Exploring particularly the use of axon and perspective images.
