ARC 553/ARC 453– Structures 2

 This course concentrates on the study, investigation and application of various advanced building design and construction technologies, structural materials, connections, and details. Students will study various design criteria for specific materials, such as timber, steel, and concrete. The students will also be introduced to the proper use of various building codes and their impact on building technology, civil and structural engineering.
