Faculty serve as advisors for graduate students. In the architecture programs, students are urged to discuss issues with their studio instructors who serve as faculty advisors for their students. In addition, students are welcome to schedule appointments with the assistant dean for graduate education, should they require additional assistance. Students who wish to meet with their department chair may do so by scheduling an appointment with the assistant to the chair.
3.5-year students in the first two years of the program will use the assistant dean for graduate education.
2-year students and 3.5-year student who have entered the Graduate Research Groups will use their studio faculty and department chair as advisors. Debbie Eggebrecht, assistant to the chair in architecture, is also available to answer questions, especially those pertaining to GRGs and registration. Appointments with the department chair should be scheduled via Debbie, at email@example.com.
Dual-degree students will work with faculty advisors from both programs, in conjunction with the assistant dean for graduate education and department chairs, to satisfy degree requirements.
