Dennis M. Penman

Mr. Penman is Executive Vice President and Principal of Ciminelli Real Estate Corporation in Williamsville, New York.  In this position, he is responsible for new investment opportunities as well as for coordinating financial aspects of current construction and development endeavors. 

Previsously, he was Executive Vice President and Principal at MJ Peterson Real Estate. Mr. Penman has been extensively involved in the development of  federally assisted multi-family housing projects and HUD Section 8 Family and Elderly Housing Developments.  He has specialized in urban revitalization projects such as Ellicott Houses in Buffalo and the Pratt Willert Home Ownership Zone project, with over $50 million of single and multi-family housing in an older city neighborhood.  He was responsible for the development of Rivermist at the Buffalo waterfront.  Over the course of his tenure, he developed over 3,000 units of multi-family, market-rate and government-assisted senior housing.  He has also led the development of single-family homes, subidivsion projects, condominiums, town houses, and office buildings.

He is the past President of the New York State Builders Association, Buffalo Niagara Builders Association, and Vice President of the National Association of Home Builders.  Additionally, he served as a Commissioner on the United States Congress Millennial Housing Commission.  He is a Board Member and Vice Chairman of the Buffalo Urban Development Corp., the immediate past Chairman of the Erie County Industrial Agency, and current President of Buffalo Economic Renaissance Corporation. In addition, Mr. Penman has taken on major ledership roles on behalf of the region's health care systems.
