Marguerite is Director of Acquisitions at Hamister Group, LLC where she is responsible for processes related to identifying and transacting real estate investments and dispositions.
Marguerite holds a Master's degree in real estate finance and investment from New York University where she was a recipient of a Dean's Fellowship for academic excellence, and a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature from the State University of New York at Oswego. She is a past FINRA licensee having received the designations of General Securities Representative (Series 7) and Uniform Securities Agent (Series 63). Marguerite is a guest lecturer and adjunct instructor in the University at Buffalo’s master of science in real estate program where she teaches real estate investment principles and financial modelling. She is a member of the University at Buffalo’s Real Estate Development Advisory Committee. Marguerite actively volunteers with several local not-for-profits that promote education, fair housing and financial competency.
Prior to joining Hamister Group, Marguerite held roles in real estate investment analysis with New York City-based: Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, a financial services investment bank; The Dermot Company, a developer and investor; and Prudential Real Estate Investors, an institutional asset manager.
