This studio will explore the possibility of co-housing as a model for multi-lot urban infill for students and seniors in multiple Buffalo neighborhoods.

In University Heights we will work directly with a community organization to develop co-housing typologies on distributed lots.  On the east side we will speculate on co-housing opportunities across adjacent lots.  These prototypes and associated distribution strategies will address topics of inclusive design, context, affordability, community, and shared amenities.

Eligibility: Open to graduate students enrolled in the Inclusive Design Graduate Research Group
