Prior to PSU he worked at numerous offices in Cleveland, Ohio, in the fields of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Planning, and taught at Kent State University.  He holds a degree in Architecture from Miami University and a Master in Landscape Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
