The Architecture and Planning Library is one of nine units of the UB Libraries and is located in historic Abbott Hall on UB's South Campus.

The Architecture and Planning Library (APL) is one of nine units of the UB Libraries and is located in historic Abbott Hall on UB's South Campus.

 The APL contains more than 32,000 books and more than 100 journal titles covering architecture, design, urban planning, zoning, landscape architecture, urban and environmental studies, and more.

The collection includes extensive digital resources such as full-text electronic journals, books, and image and research databases. The library also includes a special collection of materials on Buffalo and Western New York planning and architecture, with emphasis on such famous contributors as Frank Lloyd Wright and Frederick Law Olmsted. A full run of UB architecture and planning student theses and final projects is also archived in the APL collection. Over 500 public computer workstations in cybraries throughout UB's Libraries provide access to a wealth of library resources and software and offer optimum work environments for academic users.
