Nerea Feliz is a licensed architect in Spain and UK, with nine years of professional experience working in Madrid and London.
She holds a Masters and Bachelor degree in Architecture and Civil Engineering from the University of Madrid, Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura (ETSAM) where she graduated in 2003.
Before joining UB in 2010, Nerea worked three years at Foster and Partners, two years at Zaha Hadid Architects and later for MERCASA, part of the Spanish Ministry for the Environment in a program to refurbish and design new Market Halls in Spain.
Nerea has developed projects from early design stages to detail and construction phases in a number of ranging scales and programs, from mixed-use office buildings to a new terminal in Heathrow Airport and a temporary market in Spain, among others. Her research and teaching explores the relationship between design and construction in the contemporary culture of building.
