University at Buffalo faculty earned 72 awards of national significance during the 2013-2014 academic year, a distinction of scholarly and creative excellence highlighted last week at UB’s annual Celebration of Academic Excellence.

The School of Architecture and Planning was among the most decorated units at the university in this snapshot of national awards. Collectively, School of Architecture and Planning faculty had 11 of these 72 awards, more than any other academic unit in the university.

The “Sampling of National Awards and Recognitions” compiled by UB’s Office of the Provost includes fellowships and scholarly, educational and professional honors of national significance.
