Jennifer Wisinski-Oakley has explored evolving forms of representation for over 20 years.

She received a BA in Studio Art and Religion from the University of Rochester in 1996, where her mixed-media studio based work incorporated the study of the feminine in world religions.  Having received her Master of Architecture from the University at Buffalo, her current focus is an approach to architecture that bridges the intersections between representation, synaesthetic experience of the body in space, and built form.

Before pursuing architecture, Jennifer worked in advertising, graphic design and corporate printing. More recently, she has worked for several small architectural practices, designing and constructing projects of various sizes around the state.  She has also been involved in several independent projects, including work with the Albright Knox Art Gallery and the complete redesign of a 1900’s Victorian home in the historic Allentown neighborhood.

Jennifer currently teaches foundational design studios and has taught classes in interior detailing, residential design studio, AutoCAD, spatial exploration and model building, and 3D visualization of space.
